Rebecca Trinca
Based on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula, Rebecca creates vibrant mixed-media paintings inspired by place, memory and atmosphere. Working primarily in acrylic and oil, her lyrical, semi-abstract style explores Australian coastlines, interiors and landscapes, from the High Country to brilliant fields of golden canola.
Rebecca's creative career has taken her from studying Decorative Arts at Sotheby's in London to ceramics, jewellery and fashion before finding her way to painting.
This year, her work was selected for Australian Galleries' Prelude exhibition for emerging artists and made the extended longlist for the Jackson's Art Prize UK, from 16,000 entries.
